Yahoo Finance Aaron Rodgers says he'll be a guest host on 'Jeopardy!'
Aaron Rodgers was a success as a contestant on “Celebrity Jeopardy!”
Now he’ll take a run at hosting America’s favorite trivia show.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback told “The Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday that he took a turn as a guest host on “Jeopardy!” “that will be released here pretty soon.”

Shows without Alex Trebek started airing this week
“Jeopardy!” announced that a series of guests hosts will emcee the show after the death of beloved longtime host Alex Trebek in November. Some of those shows have already been taped and began airing Monday with former great “Jeopardy!” champion Ken Jennings as host.
Jennings delivered an emotional ode to Trebek before carrying on with the show.
Rodgers’ relationship with ‘Jeopardy!’
Rodgers won $50,000 for charity by winning his appearance on “Celebrity Jeopardy!” in 2015. He spoke fondly of Trebek upon the news of his death in November.
“It’s safe to say I was starstruck,” Rodgers told The Athletic of meeting Trebek. “I was just telling one of our coaches today as we talked about it. It’s happened a few times in my life where I’ve been starstruck by somebody, and I understand maybe what that feels like to a lesser degree when somebody meets me, and that’s what I think gives me a good perspective with those interactions.
“I was so excited, trying to keep it together and act like it wasn’t the huge deal that it was to me on the inside.”
He said that “Jeopardy!” was appointment viewing in his house growing up and that Trebek “was one of my idols growing up.”
Now he’ll do his best to try to fill Trebek’s iconic shoes.
