This isn’t a one-and-done kind of product — according to the product description, “one dryer ball can be used in over 1,000 loads and can last 2-4 years.”

When you toss a few of these balls into your dryer along with your wet clothes, they help to break up any heavy clothes, towels or sheets — that tend to stick together — so they can dry properly. Not to mention, the wool can also suck out the water and condensation from inside your dryer and improve the airflow, helping to cut down on the total dry time. The brand suggests using three balls for small loads and up to five or six for larger loads.
