In my humble opinion, there is nothing more thrilling than scrolling through the “New Arrivals” section of your favorite brand or retailer’s website. Especially when it’s a much-anticipated release like the new face mask Rihanna just dropped from Fenty Skin.
We’re also in this glorious time where every single brand is releasing its new summer collections. The meh part about this is that it can get super overwhelming to keep up with all of the new arrivals. I mean, think about how many new arrivals Nordstrom adds online every day! A lot. Not to mention, if you shopped them all, I’m pretty sure your credit card company may give you a very concerning phone call.
To make things easier on your overwhelmed mind and your wallet, I’m sharing the 15 must-have items that I — a literal professional online shopper and lifestyle editor with years of experience — am buying this weekend. Scroll down to shop the best new arrivals this week and enjoy all the newness!
1. Anthropologie Blockprinted Monogram Mug, $12
Last week, my beloved (and discontinued) Anthropologie monogram mug of nine years shattered to pieces after I tried to grab it from a too-high shelf. After a solid and tearful mourning period, I’m ready to buy a new one — and this one is so darling.
2. Abercrombie & Fitch Linen-Blend Pull-on Wide Leg Pants, $70
I know it’s still April, but I’m already thinking about beach outfits. Wide-leg linen pants are a classic, obviously, but this dark pink color is the perfect twist to make them look a little less basic. It also comes in white, black, brown and tan! Oh, and I will definitely be grabbing the matching top to go with it.
3. Everyday Humans Rose From Above SPF35 Mineral Sunscreen Base, $26
The only thing you need to know about me is that I am constantly thinking about sun protection and truly nerd out when it comes to different formulations and filters. I also adore trying out new sunscreens since I go through bottles faster than a Starbucks gift card.
Everyday Humans just dropped a new tinted mineral sunscreen with SPF35 that uses upcycled rose oil to prime, soothe and smooth skin. It’s fragrance-free, leaves a semi-matte finish and features hero skin care ingredients like ceramides to hydrate and soothe the skin. I can’t wait to add this to my collection.
4. Abercrombie & Fitch Bucket Hat, $40
Speaking of sun protection, I’ve been hesitant to join the bucket hat trend because I never found one that I liked — until now. Will I find a way to incorporate this straw hat into every outdoor activity this summer, including the wedding of my freshman-year college roommate? Yes, yes, I will.
5. CELINE 56mm Rectangular Sunglasses, $380
I promise this is the last time I’m going to talk about sun protection, but these CELINE sunglasses are just, ugh, chef’s kiss!
6. Le Creuset Botanique Collection Mini Cocottes, Set of 4, $66 (Orig. $110)
Like most people, everything from Le Creuset brings me joy — especially its new Botanique Collection. How dreamy are these mini cocottes?
7. Pat McGrath Labs x Bridgerton MTHRSHP: Belle of the Ball Palette, $65
Ever since the second season of Bridgerton dropped, my online shopping search history consists mostly of Bridgerton-inspired everything, and I love it. But what could be more Bridgerton-inspired than this actual collab with Pat McGrath? All I want in life is to feel like a real-life regency princess.
8. BP. Everyday Crop Cardigan, $29
I am a firm believer that sweaters are a summer staple. You better believe that I will find a way to wear this cropped cardigan all season long.
9. Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch Nose, $17.99
The brand behind everyone’s favorite pimple patch, Mighty Patch, released their most exciting sebum-sucking and gunk-busting product yet: Mighty Patch Nose. This isn’t a harsh blackhead strip that rips your nose to shreds. Instead, it’s a safe and gentle nose patch made of hydrocolloid that soaks up gunk and improves the look of pores overnight. As an oily, acne-prone gal, this is a must.
10. SKIMS Soft Lounge Tank, $42
Technically, our girl Kimberly Noel Kardashian already released the Soft Lounge collection from SKIMS. However, it’s been sold out for a hot second, and she just restocked with a few new styles and two new seasonal colors. The Soft Lounge material really holds up to its name, and I’m in love with the Oxide colorway.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper SKIMS haul without the matching Soft Lounge Boxers in Oxide.
11. J.Crew Tiered Dress in Broken-in Jersey, $49.50
Much like sunscreens, I also hoard white summer minidresses. J.Crew just dropped the perfect casual and comfortable cotton dress to add to my collection.
12. West Elm Organic Quick-Dry Textured Towels, $5.50-$19.50
I’m sold on anything with “quick-dry” in the product name — and West Elm is secretly the best place to shop for high-quality but still affordable towels.
13. Hill House Home Pink Pond Floral Sheet Set, $295
Hill House Home is probably my favorite brand right now. Between the internet-famous Nap Dress (that really is worth the hype!) and headbands Blair Waldorf would die for, everything product the brand puts out is a win. However, I still haven’t bought any Hill House bedding! To bring up Bridgerton once more, this spring floral sheet set is the stuff of my Regency dreams.
14. Coach Willow Shoulder Bag, $395
A good shoulder bag is the one thing that can tie your entire wardrobe together. Coach has been crushing it lately with its new designs, and this soft purple bag is no exception.
15. BaubleBar Anika Claw Hair Clip, $16
Fun hair accessories are the microtrend of the moment, and I would be remiss not to participate. Isn’t this claw clip the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? Actually, BaubleBar’s entire line of hair accessories at Ulta is worth buying.
