1. The European Union is reportedly investigating Facebook's cryptocurrency Libra for anti-competitive behaviour. On Tuesday, Bloomberg reported that the European Commission has been reaching out to unspecified individuals or organisations about Libra, telling them that it is “currently investigating potential anti-competitive behaviour.”

2. Former Primer Minister Paul Keating's daughter Katherine becomes embroiled in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. A video surfaced on Monday of a woman closely resembling Katherine Keating leaving Epstein's New York mansion back in 2010, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

3. Coles is set to build three solar power plants in regional New South Wales. The supermarket giant has partnered with solar panel company Metka EGN to help it meet 10% of its power needs with renewable energy.

4. An increasing number of elderly people are entering a workforce, according to the Reserve Bank of Australia. A major reason is rather than retiring at 65, many Australians are just continuing to work instead due to stagnant wage growth.

5. The US launches the first test of a missile since withdrawing from a Cold War-era nuclear forces treaty, prompting a new arms race. The 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty was an agreement between the US and Russia that prohibited either side from developing or fielding intermediate-range ground-launched missiles.

6. Facebook launches a new tool to help users control their data. The “Off-Facebook Activity” tool allows users to see a “summary” of the information Facebook has accumulated about them from other apps and websites and they can “disconnect” this info from their account.

7. Stan and Paramount sign a long term exclusive content deal with Paramount Pictures, according to the Sydney Morning Herald. The deal will see classics such as The Godfather and Top Gun come to Stan as well as a range of new titles.

8. EU officials reject Boris Johnson's new Brexit demands. European officials in Dublin and Brussels have immediately rejected Johnson’s new demand to renegotiate Britain’s exit deal, ahead of his meetings later this week with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron.

9. Amazon and Deloitte are backing a space-themed Hackathon in Adelaide. The Gravity Challenge will see entrepreneurs, universities, government and businesses design and build solutions to real industrial, social and environmental problems using Amazon Web Services and Deloitte’s space data.

10. Avoid Adani. While supporters of the Adani Carmichael coalmine say it will spark a mini economic boom, property investors are being warned to avoid the area.
