1. BREXIT DEFEAT: British Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit deal has been voted down -this morning 202 - 432. The result will likely mean Brexit will be delayed. Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn made immediate moves for a vote of no-confidence in May -- a move likely to fail. Follow our live blog here.
2. The British pound rallied towards the close, following a sharp pre-vote drop off. The recovery was taken as a sign of optimism around the stability of the UK's position in the EU.
3. The Aussie dollar also showed some signs of optimism, making gains against the greenback. It continues to track Chinese yuan fluctuations and recent reports of Chinese stimulus has strengthened both. David Scutt has more.
4. Tick tock: The US-China trade deal deadline is fast approaching. The two countries have until March 1 to come to an understanding, or the US has threatened to raise tariffs on all Chinese imports -- a move that could severely impact China's wider economy.
