Time 100 revealed: Oprah Winfrey, Mila Kunis, Quinta Brunson, Kris Jenner make 2022 list

The annual Time 100 list, which honors the most influential people of the year, is celebrating stars including Oprah Winfrey, Mila Kunis, Quinta Brunson and Kris Jenner.

Time on Monday released its 2022 list, featuring big-name guest contributors penning tributes to the honorees.

Former first lady Michelle Obama wrote a tribute to honoree Oprah Winfrey, calling her the world's "common denominator" for the way her projects prompt others to think critically about how to make society better.

"Whether she’s talking to pop stars, Presidents, schoolgirls, scholars — or she’s asking you about your life over a glass of wine in the living room — Oprah has always had that uncanny ability to open us up, to hear beyond our words, and to uncover a higher truth, to be vulnerable with us in a way that allows us to be vulnerable back," Obama wrote. "That’s her secret. But what I love most about Oprah is that she has never been content to keep it for herself."

Mila Kunis made headlines this year for fundraising with husband Ashton Kutcher for humanitarian relief amid the war in Ukraine, where Kunis was born. Fellow actor Zoe Saldaña applauded Kunis' efforts and heart in a tribute essay, celebrating the way the couple will "always rise to the occasion."

Kunis and Kutcher raised more than $36.5 million via GoFundMe, which landed them a Zoom meeting with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and a social media post in which he thanked the couple for their efforts.

"Mila has always been proud of who she is and where she comes from, and the sacrifices that her family made for her and her brother to come to America," Saldaña wrote. "She’s also been very aware of what it must have been for her parents and grandparents and great-­grandparents to have left it all behind. As daughters of immigrants, you understand that you stand in a certain box that makes you quite responsible very early in life. It is a mission and a responsibility and a blessing."

Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the ever-present Kardashian-Jenner family, has had a busy year between her children's various business ventures, recently winning a defamation lawsuit from Blac Chyna and the launch of the family's new Hulu reality show, "The Kardashians."

Ryan Seacrest, one of the creators of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," highlighted Jenner's ability to helm her family's media empire while emphasizing the importance of family.

"As the stabilizing core of an empire, she continually navigates the unexpected challenges of life and business with empathy, transparency, and endurance," Seacrest wrote. "She is also a mother and a grandmother, and has become a friend and big sister to me. If you’ve ever wondered how the chaos of every episode of the show always ended with a family meeting and hugs, it’s because that’s who Kris Jenner is. Family comes first."

"Abbott Elementary" creator and star Quinta Brunson had an unlikely star write her Time tribute: LeBron James. It isn't the first time the NBA icon has sung her praises. When the hit ABC comedy got picked up for a second season, James tweeted his congratulations to Brunson, dubbing her a "BEAST."

Writing for Time, James went on to call her a "master of her craft" and a "game changer in network television," lauding her ability to elevate everyone around her.

"That’s the real beauty of Quinta’s brilliance. Using humor and nuance to connect people over everyday realities in order to improve them — for students, teachers, creators, and everyone who comes after her," James writes. "Because it’s all about opening doors. Breaking down barriers. And doing it with love, kindness, and compassion. While still being an absolute boss like QB."
