As someone with long, thick and generally untameable hair, I have relied on headbands to pull an outfit together since the age of three. I’m not kidding. From preschool to high school, college dorms and my current, very adult and grown-up apartment, I have always had a drawer just for my headbands. Basically, I’m a headband scholar. Little me would be so proud!

In a shocking turn of events, this uncomfortable-looking headband is actually the most comfortable headband in my collection. I love layering this beauty atop a slicked-back low bun for the easiest lazy hair day.
Hill House Home The Halo Headband, $75
Ever wanted to feel like actual royalty? Look no further than this summer crown headband. Not only is the light blue absolutely stunning, but it’s an excellent beach accessory. I also own it in the luxe black velvet, but it’s currently out of stock — fingers crossed it comes back soon!
J.Crew Tortoise headband, $14.50 (Orig. $24.50)
Trends come and go, but a simple tortoise headband will always be in style. Obviously, J.Crew knows what’s up.
Lele Sadoughi Jet Pear Bardot Ribbon Headband, $75
ICYMI, bows are one of the biggest trends of 2023 — so this bow headband from the iconic Lele Sadougi was a must-buy. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but my investment paid off because I’ve worn it at least three times a week since I bought this in November.
