This segment manufactures and markets moveable barriers for traffic lane management, specialty barriers, and crash cushions; provides outsourced manufacturing services; and manufactures and sells large diameter steel tubing. It also manufactures preformed reflective pavement tapes and other road safety devices, and offers various equipment lease options for the moveable barrier and transfer machines used in construction applications. The company sells its products directly, and through sales programs managed by its network of distributors and third-party representatives. Its customers include departments of transportation, municipal transportation road agencies, roadway contractors, subcontractors, distributors, and dealers. Lindsay Corporation was founded in 1954 and is based in Omaha, Nebraska. |
