| Anadarko Petroleum Corporation engages in the exploration and production of oil and gas properties primarily in the United States, the deepwater of the Gulf of Mexico, and Algeria. In addition, it purchases natural gas, crude oil, condensate, and NGL volumes for resale. Anadarko Petroleum Corporation also has operations in China, Brazil, Ghana, and Indonesia. The company was founded in 1959 and is headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas. |
