$A slightly higher despite Greek woes

The Australian dollar is slightly higher despite the failure of a meeting to resolve Greece's debt problems.

At 0630 AEDT on Thursday, the Australian dollar was trading at 103.64 US cents, up from 103.56 US cents at Wednesday's close.

A meeting of European finance ministers in Brussels concluded in the early hours of Wednesday (European time), without achieving a bailout deal for Greece.

However, another meeting planned for November 26 has given some hope that the issue can still be resolved.
