There are more concerns on the jobs front in Tasmania with receivers and administrators appointed to southern printing company, Geon.
The company employs more than 40 people at Moonah in Hobart's north.
John Short from the Australian Manufacturing Workers Union says the moves follows a recent downturn in the printing industry.
"The reality is that the company's been put into receivership," he said.
"Our understanding is that the receivers are trying to work out and try, if possible, to sell it as a going concerns which is obviously the best outcome fore the workers." Last week, courier business Road Runners went into voluntary administration with 100 jobs hanging in the balance.
Transport company Chas Kelly has bought the business and hopes to retain half the workforce.
