Canberra's Nightrider bus service will return this evening, and continue during the festive season.
The late night service will depart from Civic on Friday and Saturday evenings for the first three weekends of December, and on New Year's Eve.
The ACT Government will promote the service as a convenient way for people to get home safely after a night out in Civic.
The fare will remain at $5 per person.
More than 2,600 people used the Nightrider service over four weekends in December 2011-January 2012.
