Premier Campbell Newman wants to know if the Queensland Government's superannuation arm invested in the financially troubled BrisConnections.
Trade was suspended on Monday in the company, which owns and operates the Brisbane Airport toll road.
Mr Newman says he will seek clarification as public servants need to know what is happening with their super.
"I am keen to know how it'll impact on or otherwise on superannuation," he said.
"I would be looking to ensure that people are reassured about their position."
