    Australia's biggest pink diamond unearthed

Australia's biggest pink diamond, estimated to be worth millions of dollars, has been unearthed in WA's Kimberley region.

The 12.76-carat diamond has been named the Argyle Pink Jubilee.

It is the largest diamond of its type to be found at Rio Tinto's Argyle diamond mine during its 26-year operation.

The diamond is being cut and polished in Perth, a process expected to take 10 days.

It will then travel the world, including New York and Hong Kong, before being sold later this year.
